Roadmap Summary (2026+)

Core thesis for 2026: Dynamo is moving from “protocol + pages” to a cohesive platform: user-facing apps powered by a shared Layer 2 pipeline, with independent verification and receipts that make activity auditable.

Dynamo HUB (Platform)

HUB is the integrated operating environment for Dynamo — wallet, social apps, network health, and Layer 2 services behind one identity and balance view. A public launch is planned; until then, capabilities ship in staged rollouts.

  • Dashboard: multi-address identity, DYN balances, daily rewards, LDYN (linked balance), and live market snapshots (DYN, BTC, wDYN).
  • Network view: Layer 1 RPC health and Layer 2 sequencer signals at a glance.
  • Connected apps: wallet, chat, inbox, linked addresses, Layer 2 tools, network status, predictions, and rewards — sharing the same active address context.

Wallet (HUB) — Shipped Core, Bridges Staged

  • Shipped: send/receive DYN, address book, generate/import keys, recent activity, and linked-address (LDYN) management.
  • DYN ↔ wDYN (Base): deposit and withdrawal flows built (DYN → wDYN mint via bridge hot wallet + OP_RETURN; wDYN → DYN burn on Base). Rolling out in controlled releases ahead of broad availability.
  • XRP ↔ DYN: wallet UX, deposit routing codes, and operator tooling built; XRPL on-ramp/off-ramp opens when operations and monitoring are ready (staged via feature flags).
  • Public web wallet: m.dyna-mite.org remains the primary announced wallet path on this site until HUB is launched.

Apps — Live on HUB, Hardening Continues

  • Chat (L2 v2): public signed messages with deterministic tx IDs and a consistent lifecycle (pending → batched → anchored).
  • Inbox / DMs (L2 v2): encrypted direct messages; ciphertext lives on L2, decryption happens client-side.
  • Voices (L2 v2 governance): polls/votes as signed L2 transactions; measurable and verifiable once anchored.
  • Linked Addresses: LDYN “app balance” UX for faster in-hub interactions (deposits/withdrawals + realtime usage patterns).

Interoperability — Ready to Roll Out

  • wDYN (EVM / Base): wrapped DYN for DeFi portability; escrow contract, operator dashboard, and HUB wallet routes (DYN → wDYN, wDYN → DYN) are implemented.
  • XRPL bridge: XRP → DYN (destination-tag routing, estimates, ingest APIs) and DYN → XRP (hot-wallet payout path) are implemented in HUB; production enablement is staged.
  • Launch coupling: bridge availability will align with the public HUB announcement, operator runbooks, and clear user-facing documentation (including wDYN explainer content).

Layer 2 (Sequencer) — What’s Next

  • Standardize v2 everywhere: one envelope format, one signing rule, one nonce story, one status API.
  • Harden batching + anchoring: predictable cadence, safer retries, clearer semantics, explicit anchored/confirmed meaning.
  • Proofs as a product: verifiable inclusion (portable proof artifacts + third-party verifiability).

Watcher — What’s Next

  • Quorum + chain verification by default: detect divergence, stalls, and anchor mismatches.
  • Durable verdict history + alerting: persist snapshots and add operator-grade notifications (webhook/Slack).
  • Exportable verification artifacts: downloadable JSON/verdict records per batch for audits and external monitoring.

Receipts + Reconciliation — What’s Next

  • Receipts become the bridge: apps stay fast while receipts provide durable state for UIs/dashboards/scoring.
  • Clear lifecycle: tighter idempotency, status transitions, and “evidence links” (batch hash / L1 txid).

Privacy + Economics (Platform Upgrades)

  • Optional encrypted public channels: opt-in encryption for public chat with UI guardrails on visibility/audit tradeoffs.
  • Chat fee distribution controls: configurable rules (moderators/treasury/return-to-sender) with auditable receipt trails.

Next 90 Days (Committed)

  • Public HUB launch: announce Dynamo HUB, align www CTAs and onboarding, and publish wallet + bridge documentation.
  • Bridge rollout: enable DYN ↔ wDYN for general availability; open XRP ↔ DYN when operations and monitoring are green.
  • Unify the v2 app integration experience (envelope/signing/nonce/status API) across HUB apps.
  • Ship a simple public status/health view for L2 + watcher posture (HUB network view is the starting point).
  • Publish operator runbooks for watcher failures, bridge escalation, and XRPL ingest.

Next 6–12 Months (Planned)

  • Proof artifacts as a product (portable inclusion proofs + third-party verifiability).
  • Persistent watcher verdict history + alerting (webhook/Slack) with durable snapshots.
  • Privacy/economics upgrades with measurable adoption metrics (encrypted public channels, fee distribution controls).

Long-Term (Research Bets)

  • Explicit quorum attestations (multi-sig/MuSig-style) as part of the trust model.
  • More decentralized sequencing models and stronger operator diversity assumptions.
  • Scaling/security research for higher-volume apps and adversarial conditions.

Risks & Dependencies (Be Explicit)

This section is intentionally candid. It keeps expectations aligned and makes future updates easier to trust.

  • Exchange & market integrations: bridge flows depend on timely market execution and API availability (e.g. SafeTrade for XRP ↔ DYN conversion paths).
  • Bridge operations: XRPL ingest, hot-wallet discipline, and Base escrow/watcher health must be monitored before enabling each direction at scale.
  • Security review capacity: smart-contract and bridge changes benefit from external review where appropriate; timelines affect rollout speed.
  • Governance coordination: community votes and on-chain governance remain the long-term decision path for major economic or protocol changes.

Network

Dynamo mainnet has operated since genesis (May 2021) with ~18s block times, ASIC-resistant Dynamine mining, and fair launch (no premine). Layer 2 sequencing powers interactive apps; the watcher provides independent verification of batch integrity and anchoring. Explore live chain data on the block explorer.

Dynamo HUB

The integrated HUB platform (wallet, chat, inbox, linked addresses, Layer 2, and network health) is built and in pre-launch rollout. Core wallet features are functional; DYN ↔ wDYN bridge routes are rolling out first; XRP ↔ DYN routes follow when operations are ready.

Governance

2022–2025 — Stabilize & Expand

Security is treated as a first-class product requirement: bridge and Layer 2 changes ship with operator monitoring, staged feature flags, and incremental rollout. Major incidents will be documented here when applicable and verifiable.
